Passion, Purpose and Profit

If you are struggling to build a lucrative coaching or consulting business around your passion for helping others then you have come to the right place! I am passionate about helping others to succeed in business and life but the truth is building a lucrative business wasn't always easy. I've had quite a lot of trial and error along the way and want to be able to share my own learning and mistakes so that you can reach more people and do more of the fabulous work that you do in the world.

The formula that I have found that works revolves around three things: Passion, Purpose and Profit.

PASSION - You're passionate about the work you do and the positive change that you know you can bring to people's lives.

You've probably invested a lot of time, energy and money in your own development but realise that it's time to start focussing more on growing a profitable business model.

You'd love to do even more than you currently are doing and reach more people.

You'd ultimately love to grow you business so that you can start to take yourself seriously and move from what might feel at times like a hobby to a lucrative business filled with clients that you love.

PURPOSE

If you've entered the world of helping others through coaching or consulting or other kinds of services work, chances are you feel this is the path you were meant to be on and are doing the work you were born to do in the world. Expressing your own purpose, unique strengths and talents through your business is a deeply motivating way to work and to make a significant difference in the world around you. Channelling your purpose and passion can lead to a lucrative business that is hugely satisfying to both you and your clients.

PROFIT

It is possible to do the work you love in the world and generate a lucrative income. For example, the coaching profession is growing rapidly which means there is a great opportunity and a real need in the world to help people to live differently and make positive changes in their lives. Yet a recent study from the California School of Organizational Studies quotes the average annual income for a coach at only $37,500. 

If you find yourself saying "I love what I do but I'm not here to make money" then I'm afraid to tell you that you have a hobby and not a business. The business of coaching or consulting is about generating a good income for yourself while doing impactful work in the world.

As a professional you're probably doing a lot of work with your clients to help them become more effective, play a bigger game in life and enjoy greater success. Where would you also love to be more effective, play a bigger game in life and enjoy both financial and personal success?
